JESSICA'S STORY
In 2022, Jessica's son had requested a rainbow cake for his birthday. After doing some research, she came across a recipe from Liz at Sugar Geek Show. The cake was intimidating but she was never one to shy away from a baking challenge. She followed the recipe exactly, and the cake was a huge hit among family. Most importantly, her son was ecstatic about the rainbow layers and green chocolate drip.
For Jessica, this cake will forever be known as the one that started it all. She became obsessed with learning decorating techniques and began offering to bake cakes, cupcakes and cookies for family gatherings. Not only did it bring her joy, but she loved the feeling of providing something special for others who are celebrating a special time in their lives.
After encouragement from her family, she opened her home based bakery called Too Pretty To Eat. She set out to bake goods that were just as delicious as they were beautiful
One year into her home baking journey, Jessica began 3D printing her cookie cutters for her custom orders. She had a thought to begin designing her own cutters, but with her third baby due in just a few months, she knew it wasn't the right time. The thought sat in the back of her mind for over a year.

In October 2024, Too Pretty Baking Co. was created.
Jessica felt an overwhelming feeling of "now or never" when it came to launching her online shop. She decided that now was better than never, and dove in head first (as she typically does). Similar to her home bakery business, with Too Pretty Baking Co, Jessica's goal is to provide tools to other bakers so that they can decorate cookies, cakes and treats that are almost too pretty to eat!
